WHERE WE ARE
Located between Torrevieja and Orihuela Costa (Alicante), in the heart of the Vega Baja, our vineyard sits in a unique natural setting just steps from the Mediterranean Sea.
In less than ten minutes, you can walk through vineyards, cross ancient pine groves and find shade beneath more than two thousand century-old palm trees.
A peaceful landscape full of native vegetation and sea breeze - the perfect place to reconnect with nature and feel the Mediterranean rhythm.
WHAT WE DO
At Universo Ferris, our wines reflect the land, the sea and the time they take to grow. Each bottle is made with minimal intervention. We also raise bees that produce raw, natural honey - shaped by the Mediterranean landscape that surrounds us: lavender, rosemary, thyme... Everything belongs to the same living environment. If you'd like to take something else homo, we occasionally offer local products like traditional citrus fruits, chosen with the same care and values we apply to our vineyard: respect, proximity and honesty.

ENVIROMENT
This place is the purest expression of the Mediterranean climate, where the sea softens temperatures and shortens the vine’s winter dormancy, creating a unique growth cycle.
The vines, located just five meters above sea level, absorb the full character of their surroundings - giving our wines an unmistakable identity shaped by marine influence and natural balance.
The sandy-silty soil and scarce rainfall allows the vine to absorb every trace of its environment, concentrating its essence in each grape.
Meanwhile, Levante and Lebeche winds gently stir the vineyard, and the constant sea humidity keeps the plants cool, day and night - in perfect harmony.
THE SOIL
The soul of viticulture lies underground, in an invisible world where soil microorganisms work the real magic. They unlock and boost the natural expression of the grape, giving birth to living wines with depth and origin.
For us, the soil is the heart of wine culture. Origin is more than a place - it's strength, balance and respect.
This soil, where everything begins, asks for little: just observation, smart farming and sustainable practices. That's where it all starts. Right beneath our feet.

SIMPLICITY
At Universo Ferris, we value simplicity in every step, from the vineyard to the bottle.
We see the vine, the soil and the climate as one living, interconnected system. Nothing works in isolation, everything responds to everything else.
Our practices are based on the natural physiology of the plant and deep respect for its environment. We intervene only when necessary, letting the true nature of the wine speak for itself.
AUTHENTICITY
Universo Ferris could only exist in Torrevieja, a place where Mediterranean character is at its most vibrant.
By day, the sea cools the vines with its breeze. By night, it nourishes them with humidity.
The century-old palm grove shields them from the wind.
This unique microclimate allows the grapes to reach their full potential, naturally.
TIME
Farming here is a challenge. Each vine responds differently to the soil and the climate. No two are the same.​
That's why we respect the natural timing of growth, harvest and winemaking - it's one of our core principles.
Only by doing so can we capture the true essence of this land in every bottle.
