The Origin
Monastrell is one of the signature grape varieties of the Spanish Mediterranean and has been part of Alicante's wine-growing landscape for centuries. Its ability to thrive in warm climates under the influence of the sea produces wines with a personality deeply connected to their origin.
In Laguna Rosa, it reveals a different expression: fresher, more delicate and distinctly mineral, while preserving the identity that has made Monastrell one of the Mediterranean's most celebrated varieties.

The Process
The grapes are harvested early to preserve their natural freshness. After a very gentle direct pressing, the wine ages for five months in 54-litre glass demijohns, where it evolves slowly with minimal intervention.
Made without added sulphites and only lightly filtered, Laguna Rosa aims to express the vineyard in its purest and most natural form.

The Winemaking
Laguna Rosa begins with an early harvest, carefully timed to preserve the freshness and delicate expression of the grapes. After fermentation, the wine spends five months ageing in 54-litre glass demijohns, allowing time to shape its character naturally.
Intervention throughout the winemaking process is kept to a minimum. A very light filtration preserves the wine's natural character and the authentic personality of the vintage.
