The Origin
The Gironet is one of the traditional grape varieties that forms part of Alicante's winemaking heritage and has been woven into the region's history for generations. Today, only a few vineyards remain, making it a rare variety with a distinctive character that deserves to remain part of the landscape.
The vineyards of Pla de Abargues, in Llíber, at around 300 metres above sea level, provide the ideal setting for this remarkable variety to continue expressing its full character.

The Process
The winemaking process is designed to accompany the identity of Gironet without overshadowing it. Spontaneous fermentation, the use of partially whole-bunch grapes and ageing in Maestro Padilla amphorae are all part of a philosophy that seeks not to transform the wine, but to allow the vineyard to express itself naturally.

The Winemaking
The winemaking of Nankurunaisa 21 has one clear purpose: to preserve the unique character of Gironet and express it as authentically as possible. Spontaneous fermentation and ageing in Maestro Padilla amphorae allow the wine to evolve slowly while remaining true to the variety.
Every stage of the process is guided by minimal intervention, allowing the wine to retain the character, texture and sense of place that define its origin.
