Where to eat well near Universo Ferris: my favorite spots

Eating well is part of the Universo Ferris experience.
If you're visiting Torrevieja, Orihuela Costa or nearby areas, here are a few restaurants I personally recommend.
This is just the beginning. I’ll be expanding the list gradually, including not only places in Torrevieja and Orihuela Costa, but also some a bit further away that are truly worth it.
El Mesón de la Costa (Torrevieja - City Centre)
One of the all-time classics in Torrevieja. With more than 30 years of history, they've built a solid reputation for top-quality ingredients. Tapas, seafood, meats... Whatever arrives fresh that day is guaranteed to impress. If you go, I recommend the stone-cooked meat and definitely ask about the catch of the day. The also hace an outstanding wine and whisky cellar. It's a temple of good food.
Restaurante Oryza (Torrevieja - Cabo Cervera)
A place I truly enjoy for its simplicity and precision. Their rice dishes and fideuás are gentle, flavorful, and cooked with great care.
One of those places where everything is just right. No frills, just honest food, beautiful views, and well-run service.
La Tropical (Los Alcázares - Murcia)
I recently visited this long-standing restaurant with true Murcian essence. Great quality, locally-sourced ingredients, excellent service, and a well-curated wine list.
It felt like time moved more slowly there. One of those places where something stays with you even after you walk out the door.
Como en Napoli y Avanti (Orihuela Costa)
A completely different vibe. If you love pizza or pasta, here are two solid options.
Como en Napoli serves real Neapolitan pizza: thin, light crust, well-fired. Avanti, on the other hand, makes outstanding fresh pasta. Each has its own specialty, and you can tell they love what they do.
La Versilia (Orihuela ciudad)
Por si os apetece salir un poco más lejos, un lugar donde Vicente y su equipo hacen que te sientas como en casa, comiendo de lujo. Calidad, servicio y cariño. Se nota cuando algo se hace con amor. Para mí, de esos sitios que siempre recomiendo con los ojos cerrados.
If you're up for a bit of a drive, this is a place I wholeheartedly recommend. Vicente and his team make you feel at home. Amazing food, warm service, and genuine care in everything they do. You can feel when something’s made with love.
This is just a small selection of my favorite restaurants near Torrevieja and Orihuela Costa. Places I keep going back to because they share something essential: trust, care, and honesty.
